Families are asked to provide their child's morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea each day. Bringing food from home helps children feel safe, secure and comfortable by offering familiar foods they know and enjoy. It also supports children with their independence and confidence during mealtimes.

Providing lunchboxes from home creates consistency between preschool and school, helping children and families become familiar with the routines they will experience when they transition to primary school. This continuity supports a smoother transition, allowing children to focus on building relationships, developing new skills and enjoying their learning environment while maintaining the comfort of familiar foods.
