Our story
We are two sisters (Leah & Kathleen), who have a passion for Early Childhood Care and Education, and our dream was to own a childcare centre that we could develop into a nurturing, authentic, community oriented, sustainable, and earthy environment.
We took ownership of our little centre on 12th June 2018 and this is where our dreams started to become a reality with the support from our amazing educators, families and our community and of course we are ever changing to reflect our passion, knowledge and abilities.
Leah has been working in Early Childhood Education for the past 15 years and her role here at Bundilla is Centre Director. Leah and her husband have a son named Mannix who is 6 years old, and a daughter named Esse who is 4.
Kathleen has a background in administration and her role here at Bundilla is exactly that, as well as supporting Leah and the team. Along with her husband Kathleen has three children of her own, Angelique (17), Chantelle (15) and Patrick (12).
Bundilla beliefs and values
Bundilla provides an environment that supports your child’s individuality and uniqueness with a high Educator to child ratio, committed and long-serving Certificate, Diploma and Early Childhood Teacher trained educators in a nurturing home-away-from-home setting.
Our philosophy statement was created around 13 points that showcase our values, beliefs and expectations of Bundilla. This statement is live and changes to reflect our current practises and supports our educators in creating our authentic and earthy environment.
