Our story
We are Leah and Kathleen, two sisters with a deep passion for early childhood care and education.
Our dream has always been to create a childcare centre that is authentic, community-oriented, sustainable, and nature-based. We wanted a centre with a homely, welcoming feel, somewhere we know our own children can feel safe, secure, and supported, and where every child in our care experiences the same warmth, comfort, and sense of belonging.
In June 2018, we took over the former Small World Preschool and began transforming it into the vision we now know as Bundilla Preschool.
Leah brings 16 years of experience in the childcare industry, including 11 years as a Centre Director. She leads Bundilla with dedication to quality early learning and the growth and wellbeing of every child in our care.
Kathleen has a background in school support and administration and oversees the centre’s operations and accounts, ensuring Bundilla runs smoothly and efficiently.
At Bundilla Preschool, we celebrate each child’s individuality.
Our centre offers a high educator-to-child ratio, a team of committed and long-serving Diploma and Early Childhood Teacher trained educators, and a nurturing, play-based learning environment designed to support children’s curiosity, growth, and development.

Bundilla beliefs and values
Bundilla provides an environment that supports your child’s individuality and uniqueness with a high Educator to child ratio, committed and long-serving Certificate, Diploma and Early Childhood Teacher trained educators in a nurturing home-away-from-home setting.

"We could not have been more pleased and grateful of how Inge settled into school. It is going so incredibly well with her - on all fronts!!
She is doing well academy, she is confident in and out of the classroom and has made lovely little friendships (this last aspect was a bit of a concern as she has always been my shy little person) but she is doing so well!! I would not change her time with you all for anything in the word!! The time at your preschool helped shape her into who she is today.
I absolutely loved everything that you offered her. I have to say I LOVED the small and intimacy of Bundilla, I felt she was seen and heard and super well taken care of, not disappearing into the masses. It always seemed that you gave enough opportunity for exploration and self guided learning BUT ALSO showed the kids how to do structured set up tasks during each day!! This was a big deal for me. Overall I loved having her there and am still so blessed and grateful for the space you had for her when we needed it:)
